Near Green Bay, Wisconsin

As a true believer, I had to stop by the “shrine” when we passed through Green Bay. Here I am at Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.

Today (Wednesday), was a picture-perfect day in eastern Wisconsin. Here are some pics from our ride on county roads south of Green Bay. We are spending tonight in Sheboygan, and will head to Milwaukee tomorrow (Thursday).  Today was a welcome respite from the rain, which is to return tonight and tomorrow. In contrast to Ontario, Minnesota and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, there are almost no gravel roads in Wisconsin. Nearly all are paved because the dairy trucks need to get through to the dairy farms. These rural paved roads make for great bicycling!
